Located in Galway, Ireland, Vale Life Sciences – Ireland, is a manufacturing and distribution centre for the Vale range of products.
Using state of the art injection moulding and clean room facilities they will manufacture the Vale range of High Performance microplates.
Patrick (Pat) has more than 35 years of business experience, and an in-depth knowledge of the medical devices industry and in particular the use of plastics.
Trained as a Plastic Engineer, he has established and developed a number of successful manufacturing companies, including Screentech Medical, providers of advanced moulded micro components for medical devices.
Since 2006, he has been the Managing Director of Irish Micro Mouldings.
Pat has a well-established industry partnership with Vale Australia’s CEO, Anthony Davies. It was Pat who provided the expertise to refine and advance the initial concept and design for Vale’s range of speciality microplates.
In addition to his business roles, Pat has been heavily involved in training and consultancy. He was instrumental in the establishment of setting up First Polymer Training Skillnet, a training network for those in the plastics industry in Ireland, and remains an active member of the Board. Pat is recognised leader in the plastics industry in Ireland and has been recognized for his significant contributions, including an award from AIT.
As well as his involvement with Vale Ireland where he is responsible for overseeing all production, Paul is Managing Director and Principal Consultant at NCR Ltd, an Industrial Engineering company in Galway, Ireland.
Paul founded NCR ltd in 2006 after working for a number of multi-national organisations. He has worked on projects for companies in the medical device, plastics, automotive and food processing industries in Europe and Ireland.
Paul was responsible for setting up the first dedicated clean manufacturing facility for Happy Cell® ASM and Vale Microplates.
He brings manufacturing and quality control expertise to the company and will oversee all manufacturing operations in Ireland.
